Osvaldo Natucci: “The teacher is a new phenomenon needed in this new phase of the tango, that arose at the end of the eighties and beginning of the nineties, it’s a new system. Because before, at the time of “The Party” among others, there was another type of learning where a teacher wasn’t that important; there was something like a communication code between men, women, and lots of time, because they dedicated much time to the dance, there wasn’t so much need for pedagogy. Because, what does pedagogy mean, or being a teacher? You speed up learning with instruction. That’s a teacher.”
